We planned on stopping for dinner, a drink and listen to "A" band. At midnight (We got there at 6 p.m) We had to drag ourselves out of there! Each band was better then the next and we were having a blast. If it wasn't for a full schedule the following day, we would have stayed til bar time. Put this on your list of "things to do" in the Gulf Shores!
We went for a bachelorette weekend... Super excited and was only there 15 minutes. The people were super rude. Our underage person’s marker washed off some when she went to the bathroom, she STILL had the band on and they obnoxiously put black X’s on her hands and told us we had to leave. Maybe get some permanent markers instead.. would not recommend and will not be back.
The Flora-Bama is a must see when near the Alabama/Florida state line. They have family bingo during day, church service on Sunday where you can enjoy an ice cold pop😉, their signature drink the Bushwhacker all the time and Kenny even wrote a song about it with all the other details. A co-worker told me about it years ago, so I made the family stop in on the way back from watching the Blues fly, they weren’t impressed on the first visit. What a great bar sitting at the Florida-Alabama line! If he’s in ask for Country, he’s so much fun! You’ll love him. If you don’t, it’s you, not him. You have to try the Bushwhacker but I personally love the Blueberry Bama Jama the best!!
