Not reputable or honest. Crosses lines professionally and personally and his work is sketchy. He also seems to be a bit confused about what constitutes inappropriate behavior and professionalism.
We recently worked with Alan to build a half bathroom in our basement and went with him because of positive past references. Unfortunately, our experience was very different from the positive references, which left us wondering if the references must be from many many years ago. Alan told us the job would take 2 weeks, he then started almost 3 weeks late and it took an additional ~5 weeks after that.
