Terrible Experience with Floorguard!!Sales team came out and was very nice. They did a great job explaining the process. Installation went well. The worker was very respectful and when he was completed the floor looked great.Issue: The floor was slippery. 2 kids and my dog fell on the floor. Thank goodness the kids where okay but my dog had a $600 vet visit. Floor Guard was responsive and about a month later they came out to fix the issue. I Was referred to floor guard! Unfortunately it didn’t work out well. They came back 4 times to redo clear coat in my basement! It’s looks worse then the original coat which they decided to redo themselves. This has held up finishing my home for few months now. Please DO NOT use FLOORGUARD if you plan on doing any Metallic flooring. I didn’t expect it to be perfect but I sure didn’t expect it to look how it does and just leave it as it is and tell us they aren’t coming back anymore. Please be careful. Floorguard refinished our family room floor, it included a small bathroom and closet. We signed a contact for 400 square feet for all 3-rooms. Floorguard completed the family room but only prepped the bathroom and closet floors and did not install the finish. They told us these two rooms exceeded the 400 square feet in our contact and we would have to pay more to have these two rooms finished. You can imagine how my wife reacted to their response. Mr. Makina, Just like what we explained before, we use a liquid product. Not rolled linoleum. So, our floors will have minor imperfections and those are quite common. We have gone above and beyond substantial performance with this floor and it still looks beautiful. Floorguard performed a poor installation on our basement metallic epoxy. Initial crew (non-English speaking) installing the wrong color, then process took a week vs 3 days which I was told on contract acceptance Installers splashed black Epoxy in 20 areas of basement on wainescoating, doors, marble bath tile, custom bar. When I complained to salesman Dave I got no answer. Fumes were so bad we had to get out of home for several days. No plastic vapor wall was hung to isolate vapors. Crews left my windows open. This job was done in a timely and professional manner. We tried numerous times to contact this customer to resolve any issues to no avail. This customer appeared only to became dissatisfied when it came to paying the bill. It took a year and a huge expense to receive payment on this job. Floorguard always puts forth a 100% effort to satisfy all our customers. We are sincerely sorry in this case we were not able to come to a satisfying conclusion.
