We had a great experience with Ed at Floorcrafters. Installing and refinishing new floors is such a major commitment financially and to the life of the house that we literally interviewed 6 companies. The most knowledgeble by far was this one-- they were able to help us choose every detail, from kind of wood to color of stain to gloss of finish, fillers, the whole works, so we ended up getting the floor we dreamed of but couldn't have imagined beforehand. I am all for supporting small businesses and went with Floorcrafters after receiving an excellent referral. Ed was very attentive and responsive during the estimate process. That all changed once he cashed our deposit check! We had to hound him to find out when they would start the work. He did not return calls or emails. It took multiple attempts to reach him. Make sure you do your research about what your floors will look like refinished with no stain v. stain. He is the pro but never goes over different finishes with you ... read more
I had them fix a few hundred square feet of flooring in my apartment that was damaged due to water warping. This was done a year ago: 1) They finished 3 days late... while I was sleeping in my living room with the entire contents of my apartment in a cramped space. 2) They did not put any sealer on the floor which resulted in re-warpage 6 months after. 3) They are impossible to reach when I was trying to tell them of the problem. 4) It took several phone calls just to get someone to look at the NEW damage and it is still not... read more
Great Job – They did a great job refininsing an entire house of Brazilian Cherry for us. Price was reasonable, started when they said and finished on time. The results are beautiful. Definitely a very professional company.
Amazing wood floor place, beautiful work – They gave me a great bid to refinish 1000 square feet of old pine flooring, did it all dust=free, cleaned up after themselves like good boys, and now the floor is so shiny and pretty its like walking on water.
