Worst Flooring Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! I purchased Stainmaster carpet through Lowe’s, who subcontracted the job to Floor Interior Services—and it turned into a nightmare. Before installation, I repainted my master bedroom baseboards so they’d be perfect with my new carpet. When the installer was “finished,” I walked in to find about 90% of my baseboards covered in black scuff marks and gouged with dents from his carpet kicker. So far we are off to a horrible start. This company was supposed to be at my home at 8:00 then they said 9:00….. 9:00 turned to 12:30 and then between 12:30 and 1:00 and when I try to call no answer. Stay tuned I hope this experience gets better but at this point I have zero confidence it’s 12:50. Lowes company showed up at 1:30 which is five and a half hours late not equipped with everything that we paid for and not prepared to finish the job as promised they did not bring the proper floor padding.
