Floor Galaxy has the best products and service! I have dealt with Floor Galaxy through three changes of residence in the last decade and have found them always honest, professional and efficient, as well as extremely pleasant to work with! And the price was always reasonable.
The same person posted all three of these reviews. Unfair!
Bought carpet and when it was delivered I knew it was not what I ordered. I immediately told the installers to stop the installation, which they did until the salesman came and repeatedly told me I was crazy. Since they had already taken my old carpet out of the house in small pieces I let them proceed. The next day I did extensive research and found that they had installed a substantially lower quality carpet in my home. They did an extremely poor job on my floors!! They are very unprofessional to do business with. My advice is to stay away from this company at all costs!
Please stay away from Floor Galaxy. They have made my floor renovation project a NIGHTMARE! They start off by acting incredibly nice and after they have your money, there is zero to little communication. When the job actually begins by some shady subcontractor, you don't know what you'll get. The materials used was cheap (wood begin cupping a few weeks after it was laid). I have a background in Architectural Design and have done remodeling work for many years. I have never tackled a hardwood stairs project, however, I feel I could have done a much more professional job than what Floor Galaxy has provided in the above instance. I have had the opportunity to inspect Floor Galaxy's work at this residence and have found it to not only look unprofessional and utilize cheap materials (hardwood not properly dried, treads that aren't properly sanded prior to staining, etc), but it also does not adher... read more
