We had a difficult project we wanted to have done. It’s an old house, 1913, and we are trying to keep it looking period appropriate. We wanted a runner for the stairs. The stairs have a landing half-way up, then turn to the upstairs. The carpet we chose has a pattern to it so the landing and stairs needed to merge and look like it was intended to be that way.
