I had a terrible experience with Floor Coverings International and strongly recommend avoiding this company. At first, things seemed promising with the previous owner, Mick. He was responsive and seemed to offer a quality product. But once the installation began, everything changed. The crew showed up with bad attitudes, rushed the job, and installed scratched and damaged boards. When I pointed it out, I was ignored and treated rudely. As a retired floor layer myself and been in the business for 30 years several knee operations and a replacement I needed my floor replaced I just couldn’t get down and do the work anymore. Douglas County sent a Five Star homeowner referral guide to my house in the mail and Floor Coverings International was in the book I called and talked to Scott McAuliffe the owner and he personally came to my home answered all my questions and brought samples for a luxury vinyl planking, after looking at so many and finally picking one wit... read more
