My 9 month old grandson was seen for possible seizures. We were sent for an EEG. Been waiting 8 days for results. Have made a few calls to try to get results. We were either left on hold and then prompted to leave a message, or was told the doctor would be notified. Neither has resulted in a return call! It's deplorable that somebody that supposedly has such a good reputation can't be bothered to take a few minutes to ease a parent's mind when it comes to the health of an infant child. My son was in Early Intervention for developmental delays and as recommended by his therapists, I called and specifically stated that we needed a neuropsych evaluation. I was told it could be months, which I expected and the appointment was made with the neurology department. I showed up to the appointment in August to find that the appointment was not for the testing and further, it was the wrong department. We met with Dr.Mehta and she recommended ADOS testing which we should be able to get sooner than a full eval., I agre... read more
