I was given a trip here for my birthday by a friend because we saw this on tv. Sensory deprivation has a lot of mystic websites explaining what it is and the benefits that it may or may not provide. I really can’t speak to that aspect of it after only one visit. The business was easy enough to find but parking was troubling to say the least. The lady at the counter was very thorough about explaining everything and answered questions that I had. The facility was clean and warm. Overall a cool experience. I’d try it again.
Everyone should have at least one float in their lifetime. Very relaxing. You begin your float with a shower. Then it’s in the water for a full hour. With the lights out, you’re in complete darkness or you can put on a small light in the tub. Both are relaxing. The salt in the water is amazing. Their shower has bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. Felt great after the float. Body pain was definitely reduced, at least for a while.
My float experience was so relaxing and very much needed! The lack of gravity and sensory deprivation helped me enter a meditative state so smoothly. The salt also felt so nice on my muscles and helped me wind down to end my week on the most peaceful note. Highly recommend!!
This was my first float experience. The owner went out of her way to make sure my questions were answered and that I was comfortable. Floating itself was indescribable. During the float, my mind relaxed and my body felt at ease, but even afterwards I still had that relaxed feeling (not to mention I slept like a log). I had a wonderful time and am looking forward to future sessions.
Absolutely loved my experience at Float Atlanta. I enjoyed the foot massage in the lobby. The open room tubs were quiet and relaxing. Lois did a great job of explaining the float process ahead of time, too. Can’t wait to come back!
