Yesterday afternoon was my first visit with a friend; we came for Happy Hour. Immediately upon opening the door, the restaurant was a delight! Lovely decor, a welcoming staff, and an all-around comfortable ambience. We sat at the bar and enjoyed delicous items from the HH menu (crispy truffle brussel sprouts, French fries, sliders, AND deviled eggs)...all were absolutely delicious. This was our first time back under the leadership of the new owners. We had a lovely evening with a scrumptious dinner and were served by a delightful wait staff.
Definitely check The Proper out! Staff and Food are exceptional!
We love going to The Proper, the staff is efficient and friendly, always a GOOD time! The menu is creative with many yummy dishes. The cauliflower hummus is delicious, as are the deviled eggs. Chicken piccata is amazing! Tonight I had the shrimp risotto, very creamy and tasty. Even if you don’t live close by, it’s worth the drive. The atmosphere is hip and comfortable, with interesting decor.
