The food at Flint was okay, but unfortunately the overall Mother’s Day brunch experience was disappointing. Even though we had reservations and arrived on time, we still had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. They also seemed very understaffed and unprepared for the holiday crowd. Usually flint has been a great experience for me and my fiancé when going to dinner, so we wanted to share and enjoy our experience with my mother as a mother’s day gift/experience for brunch. Granted we haven’t been to Flint brunch before but we were extremely disappointed. They had a fixed menu for Mother’s Day. There was nothing my partner could eat without allergies. The quiche was rubbery and tasteless. The mimosa was delicious. Not worth $65 a person AT ALL. The server was sweet and the manager came and talked to us which was nice. The chef and marketing is where the improvement is needed.
We were excited to try this and expecting much more than we received.
