I tried to discuss an issue on the phone with an estate lawyer and the office was dismissive and rude. The only acceptable interaction was with the receptionist who at least listened and tried to get me to the right place. Carlo spent a lot of time and effort free of charge trying to mediate a dispute on my property sale a year and a half ago that was based upon a separate life lease agreement that the purchaser no longer honours. That kind of service is very rare these days!
I worked with Carlo on a vanilla financing transaction where he was an agent on behalf of one of the two principals involved. Carlo requested what appeared to be an atypical diligence list. When asked about the merit of certain requests, Carlo opted not to respond directly to the questions asked of him.
