UPDATE: They seemed to be very concerned with the review I left (below) and reached out to understand more. I will say Chris did not show up as dismissive which was nice and called and emailed me to make sure that I was able to feel better about the result of my service and showed up with curiosity. Ultimately, they refunded my oil change which was unnecessary but appreciated. That said, there is still work to be done to be transparent with pricing. Went here to have a recall service done, but added an oil change on top of that because it was needed. Was quoted $200+, and said yes as I didn’t think anything of it. Come to find there’s a deal on their website for $169. I think they took one look at me as a woman and threw the highest price out there, assuming I would accept. The car industry is sexist and clearly that is the business they are running here. You should have transparent pricing posted somewhere in your location or online. My recent car-buying experience was disappointing due to the behavior of the sales manager, Eric. While the salesperson, was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with—Eric was the complete opposite. He was snobbish, dismissive, and made the process unnecessarily difficult when asking to work out basic numbers together. His attitude and lack of respect for customers are unacceptable. I recently visited Ciocca VW of Flemington, and it was by far the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. The VW Sales manager, Eric, was completely unprofessional and condescending throughout the entire process. Not only was he unwilling to negotiate even a single penny off the price of the car, but he also treated me with blatant disrespect, as if I was wasting his time.
