i wouldn't come back..
I was really disappointed with my experience here. I came expecting authentic Caribbean food, but what I received was nothing close to it. The meat tasted old, the rice seemed like it had just been thrown together, and the entire meal lacked freshness and flavor. As someone familiar with Caribbean cuisine, this was honestly disgraceful. This was some of the best food I've ever had in my life! I've been twice, and have had the Pinapple Ribs each time. They are so tender, they fall off the bone, and have The Best Flavor! I kind of fell in love with their Beans and Rice as well! They taste like they are cooked in Coconut Milk, which I love. I really need to get this recipe, as I don't live nearby. Do yourself a favor and try this place, STAT!
I introduced my coworkers to Flavas and they were extremely happy with their meal. Flavas always has the most delicious food!
Ordered a jerk chicken and braised oxtail combo to get best offerings, and the plate was really good. However, also ordered the escovitched snapper filet which was supposed to come with a spicy sauce, and the filet was served completely dry. No sauce at all, and very bland. Not sure if that was intentional, but probably would not order that again.
