I had an eye exam in early July, Dr Patel was very thorough. Some days later - July 16th - I went to the Flaum Optical Shop. Total disaster. By Setember 4th I had has 3 lots of lenses and none of them worked. After a discussion with a manager the staff and the gave up on me, suggesting i have another eye exam. Never again.

A weighted 45 minutes and then was told I had two other people still in front of me, it would be another half hour. They told me the doctor was not running late, but that they didn’t have room, they booked too many people for the same time lots. Then I was told I would be next and then they called someone else in front of me. I understand waiting but 45 minutes and then told another half hour is ridiculous.

I would look elsewhere for an Ophthalmologist if you can. I've been taking my son to Flaum for over a year and every interaction has been a terrible experience. There aren't really other options in our area, if I could find one, I'd switch ASAP. Our sons doctor prescribed him a $2,000 medication, we told her we wouldn't be able to afford it and that we'd need another option.
