FlatSafe did a great job installing our shelter. We had a unique situation where there were some old 30 amp wires under the location it was installed. It gave us all a good scare, but they handled it like pros. We had to call out an electrician to verify that the wires were not live, but the guys waited while the electrician came out and then got right back to work. Our tornado shelter flooded to the brim with all of our sentimental belongings in it. Unable to contact the company. Had to leave several voicemails. I would like a call back as we feel this is extremely unsafe. We had real threats of severe tornados last night. What if we were in it and something blew down on top of it and we couldn’t get out?
Ordered a shelter in February for an install at the end of March Ordered in plenty of time for storm season. This company has cancelled install 4 times with no notice and no heads up call and no call to reschedule. I have to call them every time To find out if they are really coming. Today May 3rd I called at 2:30 on a Friday to find out if they were coming on May 4th as scheduled. They informed me I was rescheduled to May 11th.
