Herman and his staff truly care about their residents and go the extra mile to take care of them.
The community around this shelter seems disturbed by how it is run. I hear that so many codes are being violated. It seems too congested. It could just be rumours but I would investigate before committing to staying there or sending a relative there.
When I rented a place on their property I became aware of many problems on their property, particularly, their rudeness, and dishonesty. They have so many exposed wires running all over the property, I tripped and fell and was badly injured. Miram was unbelievably rude to me, called me a "puta". Though I did my very best to clean up after my dog, she persisted in photographing every mistake. Meanwhile, her Chihuahua pooped all over the place.
