really nice and knowledgeable and helpful!! i’ve come back here several times now and am always happy with the work they do and how careful they are and how they take the time to explain everything!!
Just had a horrible experience at this bike shop. Took it in for a deluxe tune up, and tire replacement. After spending $350 and riding it for less than 20 minutes, one of the spokes broke. After bringing it in, the mechanic refused to acknowledge that it could have broken due to a poor wheel-trueing, and insisted on charging me. This was poor customer service and just disappointing. As much as I want to support a local independent bike shop, I will not be returning here and will advise others to stay far away.
Flanders was the premier bicycle shop in the 80s. I need specialty parts for my old Bianchi bicycle and called them. John answered the phone and immediately knew what I was talking. He's part of the old-school bicycle brain trust. This place is legendary and should be on the National Register of Historic Places.
