Worst experience ever. We were harassed from the time we drove in. We were yelled at screaming we were going over the speed limit, funny though because we have a gps speedometer which never showed anything over 5mph. Then we had some wannabe Cowboy come over with backup to us and accused us of smoking pot when first of all we would never do and second of all we had 5 kids all under the age of 13 sitting right there with us. Amazing management! Very clean, quiet resort. I think flamingo lake has lots to offer . I give it a five star.
I wish I could post pictures, I don't have it but a nasty sign on dumpsters about Trump, trash cans overflowing, supposedly we got the last spot but just across a little from dumpster look lime they haven't been empty in weeks old mattresses and doors, plus we have a huge red dump truck right out side. I know it rains slot in Florida bur when we got here our site was under water. Had to use our sewer hose to hold up the electric cord so it wouldn't lay in the water. But we gave complained leaving Sunday.
Definitely love this campground! So much to do without leaving, very peaceful!
We booked last minute for a few days during st johns county spring break. I called Monday to make sure the inflatables were out and they said yes. I didn't think to ask if they were open during the week. When we arrived we were disappointed that they weren't, however we were able to make the best of it and we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are kept up pretty well, restrooms were clean and the people were friendly.
