We didn’t fly back home until Sunday so we decided to Uber over to the Flamingo Gardens. We were there from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and it is a really nice animal sanctuary! All the birds the rescue cannot be returned back to the wild, so they all have spacious cages and enrichments in their cages. The staff were lovely and very knowledgeable of their birds. They also were having their last Harvestfest, so they had a lot of fun activities for the kids to do and the food offered there was very good.
Kinda janky but had cool trees.
