i would say i did not have my best experience living here and doing the disney college program . I had a difficult experience with the housing and pay structure during my time in the program. Rent was automatically deducted from my paycheck, and at times the amount taken made it very difficult to manage my remaining income and to be stable here . I would not recommend living at Flamingo Crossings Village if you have any other option. My biggest issue is that Disney property of mine was mishandled and ended up being given to someone else. Despite this mistake, I received little to no meaningful assistance in locating my property or replacing what was lost. The lack of accountability and customer service was incredibly frustrating. This has been by far my worst living experience. The staff is incompetent, unhelpful, and downright rude. It’s impossible to feel any sense of freedom or comfort here, even though I’m an adult paying an excessive amount of rent for what is offered. There is no public transportation to Orlando, making it extremely inconvenient if you don’t have your own car. If Olympic gold medals were awarded for penny-pinching, this apartment complex would be standing on the podium. Apparently being $7 short on rent is treated like I personally caused the collapse of the economy. Seven dollars. I’ve spent more on a fast-food combo meal than the amount they felt was worth chasing me over. Flamingo Crossings Village is a very interesting idea. Great on paper, absolutely abysmal in execution. While the west campus seems to be in great shape, that’s only because it’s still relatively new construction. Every facility, piece of equipment, even the grounds itself are woefully unkept. If a piece of gym equipment, the pool, or an elevator goes out of service, do not expect it to come back during your program. Be very wary ordering any packages as well.
