What DON'T I like about Flagler Tavern!!? Not only are the staff and owners extremely welcoming and friendly, but also it's a great place for the locals to come unwind after a long day, have a drink, and dance the night away. The food is amazing and they serve it right up until closing time. Sometimes I go there during the day with friends and family to have lunch upstairs on the deck overlooking Flagler Ave. Great atmosphere, great staff, talented musicians, and just an overall fabulous place to be!
Saturday 1:00, placed order and 40 minutes later, still no food.. waitress said she'd call the kitchen..told us no one answered. So, can't rate the food-other peoples around us looked good..wasn't THAT busy...
Went for Sunday brunch. Awesome. Thank you for having the vegan burgers. Excellent !!! Waitress was sweet as could be. Wonderful !!
Tuna tips...the best I've ever had! Love this place!
A group of about 6 friends and I were sitting outside on the porch and the bartender turned the outside heater on. One of our friends turned the heater off because we got hot. Then we turned it back on. We got kicked out because the heater being turned on, fuck this place!!!! The bartender said we could anyway!
We just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this amazing place. The costumer service was perfect! Annette was so full of energy and pleasant. I will specifically ask for her if we return. The manager checked on us, so we had to brag about the service and food! The Grouper sandwich was perfection! My kids enjoyed pizza and Mozzerella sticks (which were great, but the kitchen was not impressed with the slight amount of cheese that melted out, so the sent another order out without any complaints from us). All: I never felt I had to review this place because I always thought Flagler tavern owes New Smyrna so much that they'd never act the way they did tonight. Anyway, here is my experience: Someone hit me on my back and I spat out a little of my drink since I was caught by surprise. Then a young, skinny dark haired bartender shouted at me saying that I was a disgusting pig and that I am on "time out" he was being super rude and extremely aggressive to me. Very disappointed in the management. Booking a private party there was a joke. They give you the date and then give it to to someone else. Will not recommend this place to anyone for a private party.
