ordered my wedding cake put a deposit on it. they closed to relocate and now i cant get in touch with them. new address they gave me was an empty building. very disappointed that i lpst over $100 and now have to order a cake from another company
RecommendedI have read many of these reviews. I have been ordering cupcakes & custom cakes from this company for many years. At times, they have gone out of their way to create a cake for me @ the last minute & their service has been above & beyond. All who have been to my family birthday parties & events have been amazed. If I had to wait 5 or 10 minutes longer, then it’s worth it because they’re taking the extra time & effort to perfect my order. For that I am grateful. I have only wonderful things to say about this place...It was the most amazing, fresh, homemade cake I have ever had. No yucky fondant, or whip icing...it was homemade buttercream/creamcheese icing, SO GOOD. They went out of their way & squeezed my order in a week ahead bc I always wait till last minute. I LOVE THEIR COOKIES! They are SO fresh & soft & the icing is perfectttt. I will also suggest their iced frapps...The caramel & coffee ones are the ones I have gotten & they put Starbucks to shame. My son tells me he is getting married Friday on Wednesday night! I’m in Indiana and he is in Midland! What’s a mother to do??? I called Fix it with Frosting on Thursday and Friday at noon they had made an amazing wedding cake for my son to pick up!!!
Sadly I’m leaving a bad review. Fix it with Frosting used to be amazing, sadly it’s gone so down hill. I bought cupcakes as a special treat for my kids for Valentines Day. All 4 of the types I bought where so dry and awful even my children spit them out.
I ordered a dozen cupcakes simple request 6 white 6 strawberry with buttercream. Paid over $30 for the dozen . I was expecting really good homemade cupcakes , they were from a box and very dry the frosting had no flavor, i was disappointed in them. The dozen ibought at HEB for $7 were much better�
Cake looked like a toddler made it. Cake was dry, and burnt. Fondant was literally rock hard. They put the cake in a box that was too small, and it smushed all of the frosting. So it looked terrible. You would think being a “professional” cake shop they would at least package it correctly, nope. Needless to say even children didn’t eat the cake! Better off getting a cake from Walmart... I️ wish I️ was being dramatic. I️ can guarantee whoever seen the cake will not get a cake from here.
