This treatment center is just like any other you get out of it what you out into it my counselor was awesome the owners Jason and his wife are amazing not only is it in beautiful downtown chaska but all the opportunitys that are there are awesome it's in a booming growing town you have access to the community center great food and there is work in walking distance you can have your car there insured licensed drivers only they get you to meetings and Dr appts like it says 5 stars
The support, guidance, and genuine care I received gave me the tools and confidence to get and stay sober. I am forever grateful for the lessons and my friends in recovery. If you are willing they will show you the way!
My experience: For the most part 5 Star was informative and helpful. However, they tend to hire on addicts that still have their own agenda in life, resulting in false accusations and the ruin of people's recovery time, and the loss of trust that person in recovery needs. And then when said person is found to be less then they should be and are terminated, there's no apologies, or recognition of the actual integrity of the person for whom was blamed for whatever accrued. To bad 5 Star, for that you only get 1 star...
I worked there for almost a year after I was a client...and both of those experiences were top shelf. The staff that dealt with me were fair and helpful, and the other clients made me feel right at home and safe when I arrived. When I worked there I strived to extend all those good qualities I had discovered as a client to the new clients l met along our journey together. I genuinely miss working there...the people there are saving lives...some even their own lives. Dennis K.
