Do NOT recommend. Multiple things wrong with the house and owner ghosted us during our stay. Bummer because it’s a beautiful location.
BEWARE! We recently rented Five Star Rental property in Corolla, North Carolina. I booked the house in July 2025. Red Flag should have been communication from the get go in addition to actually having to remind them to send the contract. On arrival the house had many issues: *Two biggest issues we didn't have internet of tv for 2.5 days. The management company came on day 2 and said the account with Mobil had been suspended. This company This company is incredibly bad, we had a reservation through airbandb for one of their properties in San Agustín we called 4 hours after the cancellation time for a medical emergency and they used to give a refund, one of the members was receiving a kidney donation and it was impossible not to cancel, the only thing airbandb could do was give a partial return but we lost 1500 dollars for canceling 4 hours after the time that marked the policy
THEY ARE A SCAM! do not rent from them. I rented and tried to cancel well before my cancellation window and they keep saying they will issue my refund and IT'S BEEN OVER A MONTH!!! Kevin Cobb is a conartist and won't even answer phone calls. Save yourself the trouble!
Do not book with these people, they charge you a cleaning fee when you’re the one cleaning for the next people. There’s no way they clean the house and wash all linens in 4 hours we booked the “no 20 mountain masterpiece lake views 6 bd ac!” There was random decorations from a birthday party hosted there right before us. 4 of our toilets were leaking, shower head didn’t work, a pipe leaked the whole stay our clothes kept collecting water and as soon as we noticed that 5 star calling us saying the water company reported a wat... read more
