Years ago, it would have been difficult to find a hip, urban hot spot where one can enjoy a nice meal and then dance until the wee hours. Five Star proves that Raleigh can party with the best of them. Fashioned from an old tobacco warehouse, the restaurant is decorated in a hip, minimalist style and all in red. There are two full-service bars and a large dance floor perfect for the large crowds that frequent the restaurant.

RecommendedAmazing food! This has been one of my favorite restaurants since it opened, & I have introduced so many people to this fabulous place. Great ambiance, music, staff, food, & drinks. Great place for dinner with friends, dates, & special events.

I had the worst sesame tofu i have ever had in my life. The sesame sauce tasted like fish and sugar, I want to throw up just thinking about it.

This place has the absolute BEST Chinese food. It’s no expensive, and you get a lot for what you pay for. It’s also a low lit atmosphere while still being casual to make it a great middle ground location for a date or just dinner with friends.
I'd heard about Five Star from some friends and decided to check it out. I was expecting the food to be good, and it met my expectations. I was not expecting it to be such a cool space. With its industrial decor, exposed brick, center bar, loft style balcony and cool ambient music, you'd think you were in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The staff was nice and our server was great. I can't wait to go back!

Fantastic service by Paul, who is new to the restaurant’s bar, does an amazing job along with all others there too! Will be back! 😃 oh and if you haven’t gone yet, you should! ☺️
