We had gotten bids from 8 contractors. They were from $10,000 to $16,000 and no where in our price range. We had 2 bids that were under that but when we asked for a written contract, they kept adding things and going up on the price. Our house had rotten wood and paint chipping EVERYWHERE. Five Star was almost 50% cheaper than everybody else. They didn't add unnecessary charges by trying to add work we didn't need.
