Bobby and his team are top notch! They did exactly what they said they would and my (new to me) trim tilt assembly works perfectly.
Super friendly staff on the phone. Knew my issue when I described it to them. Fast turn around and the part is in and works like new. Couldnt have been a better experience.
I gotta say these guys are the best. Sent in my old unit. Unknown to me it was an aftermarket unit the previous owner installed. The guys called me right away to let me know that it was pretty much junk and not worth rebuilding because it is not OEM. So the solution was to have them sell and rebuild me an OEM unit that they already had at the shop. I could not be anymore happier with the decision made. I ordered a remanufactured tilt/trim unit off of eBay, Five Star Marine promptly contacted me to let me know their turnaround time, the part arrived when they said it would and it was in beyond perfect condition. They take utmost pride in their work and their products absolutely show it. Cannot recommend them enough.
I received my unit back and had to wait a few days to install it. Got it installed and it didn't work. Call the warranty department and talk to the owner Devin. He told me it sounded like it was air locked from being shipped on its side and to let it sit for a day in the upright position. That was on Monday morning. Had doctors' appointments that lasted all day Tuesday so I couldn't check it Tuesday. Went out first thing this morning and everything worked.
