We had our roof replaced during the shutdown, before the derecho, due to hail damage. The initial installation went smoothly, and we were happy with the work, staff, and company at the time. However, nearly six years later, the same area that leaked last year, and that they supposedly repaired, is leaking again. Unfortunately, they are now not returning any of our phone calls. UPDATE: We heard back from Five Star the next day and Frank & Jose came out within the week. They were very nice, answered all of my questions, were thorough with their work and took care of everything. I've update my review to 4 stars because of the experience with them. Im giving a one star review at this point because after our roof replacement, we've had warping and shingles falling off all over our roof (mainly below windows and gutters) - within 3 years of installation. I talked to Chad on the phone and he did a poor job of representing this company. Your work notes were not correct, you made an outrageous false claim that was not researched before you spoke and you did a terrible job speaking to another human being who is in fact a paying customer. You lack Manners Chad.

I needed a reroof after hail damage. Five Star was easy to work with on schedules. All the work was completed in one day. Only four stars, though, because they didn't install the correct product. I wanted a Class IV shingle but received a Class III. They credited the difference in cost to me, but my insurance costs went up and have cost me more than the difference in price. They were prompt to communicate the mistake, and did offer to re-do the roof, but I decided that was both a hassle and unnecessarily wasteful. Overall a ... read more
