I lost my job and had health issues going on so I tried to cancel my membership but they wouldn’t let me because I had owed some money in my account. I had told them I couldn’t pay at the moment and that I needed to cancel my membership so I wouldn’t be charged and the manager refused and told me I had to pay to cancel. EDIT: AFTER PAYING LATE FEES AND DECEMBER PAYMENT WE WERE TOLD THE MEMBERSHIP WAS CANCELED PER OUR REQUEST. THEN WE WERE BILLED FOR JANUARY AND FEBRUARY ALONG WITH 35$ LATE FEES. THE MANAGER IS A LIAR. Now they want updated credit card info because we canceled the card. Not giving you new info to charge more when this should have been canceled on the first call over a month ago. My son lived in Hot Springs and went to this gym. Have tried to repeatedly cancel membership for 6 months. Will not cancel without walking in or speaking to manager. The manager is never available. Finally, in December he said he would cancel the membership but they have continued to try and charge us. This should not be this complicated. He lives in NC now so it's not easy to just walk in. Beware of their business practices.
Staying in the area and was able to do a 1 week membership. Used the gym this morning - outstanding quality and range of machines, everything super-clean. The staff are extremely friendly, Miguel was helpful in getting me set-up.
