I can't say enough good things about this place. I went in with excruciating pain in my abdomen. I was able to get into a bed before I even finished filling out the paperwork. I was diagnosed with acute appendicitis and told that I would need surgery. The doctor went out of his way to call around to all the local hospitals to find me one where I would not have to wait, instead of sending me off to the nearest one. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were very helpful, and were far better at explaining my injury then the specialist I followed up with after I had a bone reset by Five Star. I hope I don't have to go back, or recommend an ER, but I would recommend them.
I went in with so much pain I was barley able to walk and this emergency room was no help at all. All They did was prescribe me medicine which they said would fix my problem if I waited it out (which wasn’t true I needed a procedure done) I was clearly in to much pain to be able to fill it was left with a huge bill for nothing and was sent home. I had to go to a real hospital to get help the next day at St David’s and they treated me 100x better with actual concern and action to relive my pain. Don’t waste your time going to... read more
While visiting Austin my wife we had to find a 24 hour emergency facility. Went to Five Star ER and was registered and seen by the attending ER doctor quickly. From the admitting, nurse and doctor we felt welcome and completely at ease. Thanks to everyone for taking such good care of my wife. Felt like a part of the Five Star ER family. Highly recommend.
