The food is AMAZING!!! The front end people are very nice & have great service.
What kind of BBQ restaurant consistently runs out of ribs before dinner time, around 5 p.m. almost every day? This one! It feels poorly managed. We’ve been here 3–4 times, and each visit they’ve run out of ribs early in the day. On top of that, they were also out of burnt ends, which are supposed to be their signature item. Very disappointing. This time we didn’t buy a thing! Not getting my business. Management really needs to get it together.
My wife and I just visited this restaurant today, and based on the Google reviews we were expecting much more than we got. I love a good hole-in-the-wall BBQ place, but this was just a hole-in-the-wall. Service was slow, hardly anyone else was at the counter and it took over 10 minutes to get our food. Super good BBQ place in the Orem area! The sandwich was really tasty. I recommend going early for lunch since the line during then can be long and take time. But the food was really good.
Authentic taste of Texas for Texans in exile. The ribs are my favorite. It is hard to find okra outside Texas but 5 Star has great fried okra!!
