Five Star Automotive is aptly named. Our car broke down in Duluth, driving back to the Twin Cities from further up north and they were able to get us in right away. Logan who was working the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Rick took a look at our car and after sending Cody on a parts run was able to grab what we needed and get my car fixed. Rick took it on test drive himself to ensure we wouldn’t run into further problems on the road. Great group of guys working here. Much appreciated. Thank you!
Couldn’t produce a simple quote for swapping front brake pads. Got mad and said it could be as much as 1500 Put someone who knows what they’re talking about on the phone.
Traveling Northern MN and broke down on Thursday. Got the disabled car to Five Star Automotive Duluth well after closing time. They assured me they could fix it by the end of work Friday. They kept their word even though it took almost an hour after closing to finish. Yes, they stayed late just for us. At least a 5 star review! You can count on them. Thanks!
I was on my way to Duluth from visiting Grand Portage when my truck had motor problems on a Saturday afternoon was able to limp it into Duluth but nothing open until Monday called around and finally found Five star in Duluth they said we could drop it off we had no choice but to. Logan and the team of mechanics got right on it and by the end of the day we had the news not good but still fixable if they could get all the parts, they gave us a loaner car and after a few more days they had it fixed and we were back on the road.... read more
