Established in 2004. In 2000, Jamie opened The Smog Shop, which was a test-only smog station in Modesto, where he was living at the time. After four years of focusing on smog testing, he decided that he wanted to expand into general repair and relocate back to his hometown of Patterson. The people here are super friendly. I walk in and they know my name and ask me how I am doing or how my day is going. I have been here many times and each time the service gets better. If you live in Patterson or near Patterson come here if anything is wrong with your car, they can help.
Will not do business again! Took it in for smog and for a charging issue. Told me I needed a new catalyltic converter and a clutch. Top it off I still have a charging issue. And radiated blew 5 miles after I got it. Still had idle issues as well! Never again will I do business with them or recommend any one.
Best mechanic I ever went to regularly. Very thorough and you need a reliable car out in the Valley. Old school customer service and honest. Drive here like I plan to from Fresno soon and you won't be disappointed or ripped off.
You guys saved us! Such a great and reassuring group of people! We were so worried we would get stuck over a holiday but this group of AMAZING people had our car done the same day even sooner than the car rental ran out. Friendly, honest and fair plus lots of fun to have a few laughs with when it was really needed the most. Made a really stressful moment so much easier to deal with! Not only did they take great care of my car, but they took care of me and the kids. It was close to closing when my car, that had broken down, got towed in. I had to wait for a ride to the car rental company, and they let the kids and I stay inside, even a little past closing, while waiting for the ride.
