The special comes with an entree, salad, potatoes and Molokai Sweet Potato Cheesecake. For a splurge, the Puhelu Rack of Lamb is highly recommended. The perfect accompaniment is the Markham Merlot. Take your time, the service is friendly and relaxed, and the ambiance is idyllic.

RecommendedOur experience at the 5 Palms restaurant has been the same the last several times we have been there...the food is delicious, the view is beautiful but the service is suspect at best...it starts out reasonably attentive but once the food is served our server disappears and every time we have had to ask someone else to find her/him for us. When people ask me for suggestions I rarely suggest the 5 Palms because of the spotty service. Too bad as there is much to recommend except the service.

Food not as good as it used to be
Great happy hour with an awesome view ... love the coconut shrimp!
They need to change their fryer oil. Everything tasted like burnt old oil. We even sent the calamari back and it still came back that way. The spider roll sushi had a really bad fishy flavor. Our drinks were good and we were excited about happy hour but our bill was $70 and our stomachs wary. They need to clean their kitchen and replace things with fresh ingredients. They also do not have a changing station for families.

Excellent fresh catch Opaka fish sandwich and crispy potato wedges.
