I got food poisoning. Throwing up for hours. I should have checked the recent reviews on this place. I remember the lady with darker skin was being extremely rude when my order was being taken and after I ate it I was sick all night. Never going to a five guys again.
I visited five Guys Sycamore on 12/16/2025 at 11:15 am, I was customer number 2, There were 3 employees working, A 20 something black man, a 20 something white man and a young white woman. I only mention race to identify them. The black man took my order, I have never had a five Guys milkshake, I saw the advertisement says " hand-supn milkshakes. I don’t usually review places but this place has gone downhill fast. I was getting my drink when I saw the lady who looked to be in charge come out of the bathroom with gloves and go back to immediately handling food. I could not believe it. I didn’t want to ask for a refund but I knew I wasn’t coming back to this place. Ended up just throwing it away. I love the food however I’ve noticed a few times I’ve come in how in how strange some of the employees are. Second, sanitary issues not changing gloves after dealing w the register and then going to grab bread and what not. Disgusting
I just celebrated my bday at DeKslb five guys. We hadn’t been in years. The staff and food were great.
