I’ve changed my initial ratings to all 5/5 rating because their burgers and Cajun fries are absolutely delicious! Their staff is always friendly and always try to communicate even if there’s a slight communication barrier. After my first review, someone actually responded with kind words and even discussed my hot dog/Chicago Celery Salt request. Walked in at 9:30pm and was told they had cleaned the grills and therefore were no longer serving hamburgers. The employees working on 8/12/25 should be retrained on closing procedure and reminded that closing time is 10:00pm.
First off, why is the music so loud? Anyway, I ordered the Kosher Hotdog and while it was okay, my 55 year Chicago hotdog expertise doesn’t allow for a world without celery salt on a hotdog. A nice touch, however, was that you cut the dog in half for easier bun acceptance—odd at first but then it makes sense. Not bad, but bring in celery salt as an option
Five Guys has been on my list of places not to eat for years. I regret taking exception as it was convenient. I spent $20 on a burger and fries. The burger was tasteless and no toppings. Apparently when ordering online you have to ask for toppings even though that isn't detailed. I got patties and a smashed bun the size of an in and out single burger.
