Was out on a ride through Nutley and decided to look for something to eat. Did a quick search of stuff nearby and saw there was Filipino food nearby—ended up at Five Chris Catering. It checked all my boxes: local, affordable, and packed with flavor. That’s my sweet spot, and this place nailed it. They’ve got a $12 dine-in buffet with a great variety. Food not to fresh.... not a lot of space for dine in. Portions are small. Will not go back!
I’m so disappointed. I’m from Queens, New York, and my family has been ordering from Five Chris for over 20 years — even before my kids were born. We used to order from them for every party and I recommended them to so many friends in Queens because the food was always great. Unfortunately, the quality has gone way down.
