What a bunch of hacks-literally. They came to trim trees for AES. Man came to my door to announce they were cutting the trees. I asked the guy to PLEASE cut trees only enough to clear the lines. He says they will cut them to same height as they did last time- how they knew that I don't know since that was Asplundth last time. They chopped them down to just sticks. I doubt they'll all come back as a lotbof them have no branches at all left. I challenged the guy after the carnage and he repeated the same "we cut to same length... read more

Trees were being trimmed near power lines on our neighboring property. When we respectfully asked the workers to be mindful of new flowers that were planted in front of the tree line, they were disrespectful. One of the workers used foul language and then intentionally dropped limbs on said flowers. The line of flowers is less than a foot deep and could be avoided, but instead was damaged- not by accident but on purpose. Electric companies like DP&L and Darke Rural Electric may have no problem hiring Fitzwater to do their wo... read more

Business response:

Fitzwater was called to your area due neighbor complaints to your utility company of flickering lights. This was an emergency ‘hot line’, which means from a safety perspective it is an even more difficult work area and additionally there were entanglement of vines in the trees. Upon discussing with our crews, they tried their best to honor your husband’s request about the flowers, however they were directly under the power lines and they could not hand cut any limbs due to the closeness of the limbs in the line and had to us... read more

This company will BUTCHER your trees, they are very rude bullies and called the cops several times to force their way onto my property even though I informed them of the 20ft wide utility easement behind my home they have to use. They refused and instead called cops (which the cop agreed they don't have to come on my property) also I was lied to by the fitzwater rep, Jay, and when I called him to discuss it he hung up on me, twice, without even talking to me. They are the most unprofessional aborist company in this area. Aft... read more

We had a big beautiful black walnut tree in our back yard with lots of squirrels and wildlife living in it and they have destroyed my tree, cut way more than needed for the power lines!😈 We had no choice in the matter I guess they were hired by DP&L to trim power lines. I even asked them to take it easy because of our wildlife so they butchered it!

Had a large tree along with stump removed today, another tree trimmed and a couple of stumps from shrubs cut down. Was so happy with the end result. When they left, all debris had been picked up, the yard had been raked and was nice and clean and the only way you could tell they had been here was because the tree we wanted removed was gone. So nice to actually get what you pay for. Thanks the great job. Would use again or recommend without a second thought!

These people are so disrespectful! While they butcher your trees they try to hide behind DP&L! They actually told me they were not landscapers and they would cut MY tree's however they saw fit! When I refused and said I'd pay my own tree trimmer they called the police on me! The police made them leave but they have since been back numerous times harassing me. This company thinks they are the tree mafia or something. I'm filing complaints wherever I can!!

The worst of the worst. Aggressive bullies who have tried to force their way onto my property. They have been sub contracted by DP&L to clear trees away from the lines. Their workmanship is shoddy and unprofessional. Their "boss lady" Angie, supervises a mainly Mexican work crew and boasts of voting for Donald Trump. She blocked my entire without following OSHA guidelines and called the police on me to try to force her way onto my property that way. She spent 2 hours of company time with the road barricaded smoking cigarette... read more
