The hospitality at the Fitzpatrick is over the top. I have stayed in dozens of hotels in NYC and the service here has been better than anything I have experienced before. We left another hotel at checkout time (noon) and had a three hour gap before check-in time at the Fitzpatrick. They had a bigger room available and just upgraded us at no charge so we could check in early. While in town I purchased a baseball bat at a Mets game and needed a box to ship it home. We dropped in for lunch. Perfect decor and service. Food well priced and good. We'd visit again if in the area.
