I've gone here many times. I love how reasonable and honest they are. They told me one car wasn't worth fixing instead of taking my money which I appreciated. They have done outstanding work and have a loyal customer in me. Edit: they are now permanently closed. I'm heartbroken! Best shop in town.
BY FAR THE BEST MECHANIC IN NEW MEXICO.
We took our cars to Fitzgerald’s for 12 years when we lived in Alamogordo. I have no idea if they are the cheapest place in town, but I do know they are 100% honest and would never scam anyone. We never took our cars anywhere else. We have a 1997 and a 1995 that are still running...and running very well...because they had such good care during our time in Alamogordo. We now live in the Midwest and have had difficulty finding an honest automotive technician. They are rare. I miss Fitzgerald’s.
