Put an inquiry in on a Jeep GC and was told it was available. I then drive a half hour to drive it and was then told it couldn't be test driven or purchased because they hadn't "ran it through their shop." Probably shouldnt upload a vehicle to all the main sites like cargurus, cars.com, and your personal site and tell a customer it's available, and then refuse to allow them to drive or purchase it.
Our business purchased a used 2016 Dodge Caravan from the Hagerstown, MD Fitzgerald Chrysler in 2023. The finance manager at Fitzgerald sold us a powertrain warranty at the date of purchase. In December 2025 we needed to take the Caravan back to the dealership for a transmission issue. It was found to have needed a new transmission. So under the warranty they replaced the transmission with a used junkyard transmission, not a rebuilt or new transmission. Our warranty states that we have a $200 deductible. Nobody enjoys car shopping, but Fitzgerald was a nice experience. I knew exactly what I wanted, and the transaction was easy. Yes, they did suggest add ons, but they weren't pushy or arrogant with the suggestions. Yes, I would buy from Fitzgerald again. I will add, I shopped the Chrysler, Dodge, RAM, Jeep store, but they have multiple brands, and Id assume the transaction is as nice as I received with all 5he different stores.
The service and shop is a 💯% 🎯. Ram has stood behind my 9yr old truck with 127,000 miles on it now with extended warranty and recall work! So pleased! Thank you to the mechanic Matthew and service tech Chris! In 2021 my 2009 Wrangler was jumping out of 1st gear and had lost power on hills. After teardown they found internal gears and synchronizers shredded and bearings burnt due to normal wear and tear. CarShield put in a new 6spd transmission, clutch and pressure plate!
