I've bought multiple vehicles from Fitzgerald Hyundai Clearwater over the years and based on service experiences was not sure I would again, but they had a car I wanted and I came in to test drive an Ioniq 6 on a Sunday. We spent several hours with them coming to a deal, but the deal fell apart when they told me the car was not "certified pre-owned" as listed on their site and resulted in me leaving without the car after they argued with me about the 10-year/100K EV battery and component warranty they said would NOT transfer... read more
We wondered around the lot, nobody came out to see us. Had to go inside to get a sales report, then he couldn't find the car in their stock, I had to show him the online price. Then, the shift manager was very rude and demeaning. Kind of sarcastic in nature. I had the cash upfront, He wouldn't even work with me. I've used Fitz for years, now, sad to say, I wash my hands of them.
Do not buy!!!! Bought a car, didn't even make it home before the transmission almost fell out. They would only exchange vehicle. Got new vehicle that came with warranty allegedly but when tried to use it was not recognized anywhere.
Total waste of time. Lowest offer on my trade in and the truck they had online had damage in person and the engine was shaking the car. The epitome of used car sales. Say whatever to get you in and lowball you. Won’t be back
