I got an injury that my doctor said would take 6+ months to heal before I could use the gym again. I tell the gym this and want to cancel and they still double billed me for the last month. Talk about DESPERATE. A gym in the Castro like the gays who go there is based on reputation and yours just tanked. I’d give negative stars to claw them from other laughable reviews if I could. I’m sorry my injury didn’t time itself to give you 5 days notice before the end of July lmfao.

Fitness SF Castro has a lot going for it—good energy, solid community, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. But the facility upkeep is frustrating. The spin bikes are almost always broken, and the showers have been under construction for what feels like forever. It’s hard to justify the price when basic amenities aren’t maintained. The team deserves better tools, and so do the members.
