Unsure how this gym keeps it platinum status. Has the potential to be a great. Cons: 1. Bathrooms are always filthy and have odious smells. 2. There is barely any aircon and manager’s remedy is to have the door open and fans blowing hot air around. It was so hot inside the gym it didn’t feel safe to workout as it was hotted inside than outside. Had to leave. Speaking to other members they also share the same sentiment around lack of aircon. 3. My friend signed up at Darlinghurst branch and was told he can cancel the membership via website contact page within 7 days. He did so and called the gym. The staff claimed that “they didn’t see the cancellation email”. The membership is still not cancelled and Fitness First just keeps charging. So we visited the gym a few times and tried to cancel. It closes too early Friday ate 8 PM SATURDAY 7PM SUNDAY AT 6 PM for no reason that’s ridiculous what kind of gym is that, we pay a considerable amount for week, and the can not afford one employee to stay in the reception??????? What’s the point we finish work and cannot go to the gym?????
