Unprofessional staff, to say the least (except Anthony and the biker guy at the front desk). The equipment is decent, although on both Saturday and Sunday they close at 6:00 PM, which is absurd. They won’t put up a single boxing bag, claiming they’re afraid people will get hurt and sue them. And if you decide to give it a try, make sure to avoid that miserable mosquito called Salena or whatever her name is. Thank me later.

I was a member here for almost a year and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. Due to medical reasons (pregnancy), I asked to freeze my membership indefinitely, but was told it wasn’t allowed. We agreed on a freeze until the one-year mark, yet after only four months they started charging me again without any notice. When I tried to get answers, I was hung up on, brushed off with “we don’t handle this,” and never able to reach a manager—if they even have one. Ive been coming to FitNation for over 5 years now, staff are always friendly and helpful especially Deana + Selena (Manager). Plus the gym is always clean. Definitely one of the best gyms in Maspeth.
