I recently ordered Bairdi crab legs from FishEx when they advertised a special rate of $29.99 a pound [usual price was $39 a pound]. They arrived and although fresh tasting, I was very disappointed by the size of the Bairdi crab legs. What I received was snow [Opilio] crab size legs and clearly not Bairdi, by virtue of their small size. Ordered $500 of the red king crab for the holidays... tried a few pieces...as they came in pieces... delivery was as promised but quality just want there... to much of a fishy taste. I've ordered from other companies before with great results. Tried FishEx but I'm afraid I'll have to go back to the other companies..

Disappointed as ordered King Crab and what came was not dry packed and looked like someone went to the grocery store and got the leftovers and packaged them up. Called and Brandi said it’s not about the size it’s about the flavor. Never order from them again

I placed an order for merus crab and a shrimp and crab boil totaling over $400. The oder was delivered a day late and had obviously been in a heated environment. Things were cold not frozen with no sign of dry ice. Some of the merus crab was mushy, fishy and inedible. The rest was fishy even after rinsing and heating in hot water. I have been waiting for a call back from customer service, but according to other reviews, that may never happen. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT ORDER from Fishex! They have horrible customer service! I ordered 2lbs of Dungeness crab for $97! I received rotten crab pieces. When I contacted them, Brandi was rude, she laughed and when I got upset, she hung up on me... even though she said she was the person in charge! When I said the crab was rotten she laughed and pretty much called me a LIAR. She said I can get store credit for the difference ($38) of the whole crab and the pices of crab, even though that is NOT what I ordered. Please find somewhere else to o... read more

I placed an initial 'trial order' in February (2016) to try out FishEx as a possible seafood source for our high-end catering events -- ordered a combination of Red King Crab legs and Snow Crab clusters (Bairdi and Opilio). They weren't cheap, but I believe in their business . . . definitely ours . . . and most dealing with quality suppliers -- 'you always get what you pay for', and we did with FishEx. Cutomer service has deteriorated greatly – I've been ordering from FishEx for several years now, but I just placed an order (on 12/18/11) for my sister's 50th birthday. They promised me shipping on 12/27/11 (her birthday). Instead I get a shipping notice today (12/26) saying it will be a day late (12/28). They never called to let me change my dates, even though there was plenty of time. I paid $38 for shipping alone (on a $60 order) and they couldn't get it there on time. My experiences have been positive – My satisfaction with the first order made way for another. The fish , shrimp and halibut I ordered was not cheap but it was surely fresh, and delicious.
