Amazing experience! Simply amazing. No more beautiful spot to eat and be with my wife. Definitely the best seafood in town. Amazing chowder as well. Can be a bit of a wait for a table at times, but definitely worth it. Love walking the pier after eating. Complete dining experience.
Food, Waves, Sunset? What else do you need? there is nothing better then eating delicious food on the pier at sunset with the waves crashing below. Seriously, this place is awesome, I love eating here. Hands down best crab I have ever eaten. And the servers are always friendly and "on it". In all my years eating here I have never had a bad experience.
Don't miss the sunset special If you arrive before 6:00 PM, they have a prix-fixe special that is very economical - soup or salad, an entree and dessert.
A must when in SC This is the perfect place to take an out-of-towner. The scene is gorgeous and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. The sourdough bread is out of this world!
Fish Dining at fisherman's is always a great experience. Since it is directly on the pier overlooking the ocean the scenery couldn't be better and the food taste good too. They use to have one on Newport Beach Pier back in the late 80's.

The Place to be in San Clemente! We have a standing ritual of going to the Fisherman on Thursdays for the Happy Hour Specials. Great deals on food and drink and oh that view! Best fried calamari I've had anywhere and fresh smoked albacore that almost rivals Newport's Crab Cooker. The sourdough bread tastes like it was flown in from Frisco! Try mixing the red and white chowder for an interesting and yummy combo! This is a great place to simply hang out and enjoy great food and drink.
Fisherman's Restaurant Fisherman's Restaurant is a wonderful restaurant, specializing in seafood, but also has hamburgers. Has an indoor and outdoor dining with large umbrella tables over the Pacific Ocean. next to the Pier. Very popular for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Has a happy hour.
The combination of their excellent food along with their excellent view makes this our favorite place in San Clemente, CA.
