First let me say our server, Jon, was very polite and attentive. He was also very hot as the a/c was not working. We were told the a/c had been out for a week! In Florida!! No fans, nothing to circulate air. The windows are sealed shut so there was no relief there. I can’t imagine how miserable the kitchen staff was. I’d seen this place before while on vacation and after reading the reviews decided we needed to try it. The wait to get a table was only 20 minutes. Once we got inside the server was quickly there to tell us about the specials. After ordering the wait for the food was at least an hour. During this wait we began to feel a little warm. Meh .... Overpriced for what it was !! bench seat where we sat inside was so dirty my husband had black all over his white dress shirt . Bathroom hubby said it was very nasty & everything rusty . There’s a lot of stuff they didn’t have on menu . We waited outside before we got seated for lil over 30mins with bugs biting us . Start with appetizers. They are off the wall good. Entrees were killer good. This place is well worth the adventure to get there. Cuttos to the chef and staff for our best experience ever. Will definitely be recommend to everyone.
I enjoyed my appetizer and my blackened shrimp po’boy. Although, about three or four more shrimp would’ve made it a great sandwich. The fried portobello mushrooms were awesome. Cut about like wedge fries and served with ranch or blue cheese. Yum. I took some key lime pie home for later. I loved it. Attentive, without being bothersome, service.
